Oksana + Maksim :: Married :: Chicago Wedding Photography

I had a great pleasure photographing Oksana and Maksim’s wedding. They were super easy to work with and up for any photos even though it was freezing outside. We started out with getting ready and “first look” photos and then moved out to the beautiful Cuneo Mansion and Gardens. Oksana’s gorgeous dress was perfection in the garden setting! Oksana and Maksim, thank you so much for entrusting your wedding with us!

It was my absolute pleasure meeting and photographing little miss Noa this past weekend. Noa is adorable, cuddly and sweet although photo taking was not her favoring thing in the world. She did managed to give me a few smiles, flirt with her huge brown eyes and be as cute as a button. Enjoy the photos!

The P Family :: Chicago Family Portraiture

I had a fantastic time photographing the P family. And I must admit that I developed a crush on the little man in the photos. He is only 2.5 year old but looks and acts like a 5 year old. It was like meeting a little grown up! We started with outside family portraits first but due to the weather being less then perfect, we moved inside to try out different scenarios. All was a huge success! Enjoy!

Oh boys is right, check out these adorable cousins! Mr. E is only 7 months, blue eye and smiley and Mr. L is 8 months with big curious eyes! Plus, they brought their furry friend Charlie! We started with some outdoor photography and then moved inside for some studio variety. The boys did a fantastic job including Charlie!

I love the color combination here. Charlie looks good on blue!

Miss Z is 6 months old :: Chicago Baby Photographer

This is my 3rd session with smiley Miss Z. It’s amazing how fast babies grow up and that I get to capture it with my camera. The first photo is from our very 1st newborn session, when miss Z was only 7 days old! Then we had a session at 3 months and now we did our 6 months session. Remember, you can book a “Lifetime Sessions” that will capture all the important baby milestones: maternity, newborn, 3 months, 6 months, and 1 year!

I adore Zoe: her contagious laugh, quizzical eye brows and never ending motion. Seriously, this child does not stop moving! We were able to get a few shots by either surprising her, singing to her or dancing. Anything to get THE shot!

The V Family :: Chicago Family Portraiture

It was a great pleasure to photograph the V family at the Garfield Conservatory this past weekend. I love taking photographs at the conservatory, the amazing colors and scenery are a perfect backdrop to family photos. However, during this session I was faced with a new challenge. Two kids, a boy and a girl, one loves to pose and take photos and the other would have none of it. I was allowed to take photos, but only on his terms, I got a lot of his backside, top side … well all the wrong sides if you think in terms of “grandma’s favorite photo”. Well, little Mr. M, I took on your challenge and I won! This time around your parents and grandparents will have family photos that include you, even if it’s a Photoshopped you. I’m just kidding. Enjoy!

The biggest challenge during this session was to get both kids together, at last, success!

I think this photograph showcases M’s personality perfectly!
